TBRI® Cohort for CASA Programs Application Open Until November 14
Texas CASA is pleased to invite 10 local CASA programs to join the second Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) for CASA cohort, offered by the TBRI® Ambassador Program, Child Advocates of Montgomery County. This opportunity will support participating programs in integrating TBRI® into their advocacy and communities, equipping CASA staff, volunteers, and partners with greater understanding of trauma and skills for empowering, connecting, and correcting.
Commitment
Participation requires an eight-month commitment of approximately 35 – 40 hours, including both in-person and virtual activities:
- Application Process
- Review this invitation with your program’s ED/leadership.
 - Submit application by November 14, 2025.
 - Programs notified of selection by December 15, 2025.
 
 - Cohort Requirements
- Identify up to three participants (CASA staff/volunteers or stakeholders such as CPS, SSCC, judges).
 - Attend in-person training in Montgomery County, TX:
- February 17 – 18, 2026 (required)
 - February 19, 2026 (optional court observation)
 - September 22 – 23, 2026 (required)
 - September 24, 2026 (optional court observation)
 
 - Join six monthly coaching calls (1 hour each) from March – August 2026.
- Exact dates and times will be determined by survey once programs are selected.
 
 - Provide feedback to Child Advocates of Montgomery County through surveys or other metrics.
