Join Texas CASA and the CASA Network in Austin on March 27 to spread the word about CASA and advocate for the children & families that you serve.

Event check-in and breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. in the Legislative Conference Center (E2.002) and we will kick off the day at 8:30 a.m. in the Auditorium (E1.004)
Parking Parking is available in the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage for $12/day at: 1201 San Jacinto Blvd. Austin, TX 78701 | Map
Attire Business attire (slacks, khakis, nice top or sweater, dress, skirt, blazer, etc.). Bring a sweater or jacket as room temperatures may vary. You’re also encouraged to show your CASA Spirit by wearing your best, professional CASA Blue.
Meals Included Breakfast: Breakfast and coffee will be available from 8:00 – 9:00 am. Lunch: Boxed lunches are available to those who pre-ordered during online registration. Boxed lunches will NOT be available for purchase onsite. If you did not indicate you wanted a boxed lunch during registration and decide you do, you can email Lindsey Lee at llee@texascasa.org to add a boxed lunch up until registration closes on March 11, or purchase lunch at the Capitol Grill onsite.

Legislative Visits Each program has designated a CASA Day at the Capitol Lead who should schedule office visits with your program’s legislators. Programs that share legislators should coordinate office visits to avoid duplicate visits. Leads will receive a separate email with details about scheduling your visits.

Once office visits are scheduled, your program’s Lead should email Texas CASA at publicpolicy@texascasa.org. The Public Policy Team will develop personalized materials for your program on CASA Day at the Capitol based on your legislative visit schedule.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION RECEPTION
Date & Time Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM

Parking Attendees will receive a discounted rate for parking at the Omni parking garage for $17/day and $29.50 for overnight guests. Spaces are limited. Be sure to get your parking ticket from Texas CASA when you check in to the reception.
Meals Heavy appetizers and a bar are available. Each attendee will be provided two drink tickets (beer and wine).
Attire Business professional attire.
Attendance You MUST be registered for Capitol Day to attend the Volunteer Appreciation Reception and should have registered to attend during your CASA Day at the Capitol Registration.
Inviting Your Legislators If you are the CASA Day at the Capitol Lead for your program, you will receive an additional email with information on inviting your legislators to the Volunteer Appreciation Reception.
